As a racehorse Written Tycoon show cased his ability on debut when winning a 2YO Handicap in January of 2005.  Two starts later, Written Tycoon won the Group 2 Todman Stakes at Rosehill by a length when defeating, Domesday.
During Written Tycoon's classic season the chestnut finished runner-up to future Group 1 winner Media in the Group 3 San Domenico Stakes at Randwick.  In doing so Written Tycoon defeated the previous seasons Group 1 Golden Slipper winner, Stratum and future Oakleigh Plate winner, Snitzel.
Written Tycoon, retired for stud duties at Eliza Park Stud in Victoria in 2007 with two wins from 11 starts, three placings and more than $289.000 in earnings.   Standing for a fee of $8,250.00 breeders supported the son of Iglesia, sending 118 mares to be covered by him.  Those mares produced 93 live foals and who went on to perform on the racetrack to see Written Tycoon crowned as Champion First Crop Sire in Australia 2010-11.
Written Tycoon, has remained popular with breeders' covering 780 mares over the past six seasons and on February 1st, Grand Tycoon (ex Scottattitude by Grand Royale) made it five wins in a row when successful in the Listed Elwick Stakes (1100m) taking his number of stakes winners to three joining Group 2 winner, Howmuchdoyouloveme (ex Betula Belle by Celtic Swing) and Group 3 winner, Trump (ex Queenie by Black Minnaloushe).
Written Tycoons' progeny have earned more than $3.7million, as of February 20th.  His statistical record shows 53 individual winners, from 94 starters, a winner to runner ratio of 56.4%, among those are eight stakes placegetters with the young sires third crop adding to the record during the 2012-13 season.

Meddling is out of Matchmaking a half-sister to Atoll winner of the Group 1 Italian Oaks, who in-turn is the dam of the Group 3 Prix Cleopatre winner, Sunday Picnic (by Sunday Silence).
Among the six winners out of Matchmaking (by Ahonoora) is De Valmont winner of eight races including the Listed Hawkesbury Guineas and is a half-brother to the multiple winners Testify (nine wins), Mythic Steed (five) and Mindanao (three).
Although, Meddling was unraced her female family has plenty of depth with the Group 1 BTC Doomben Cup winner, Cinque Cento (by Nothin' Leica Dane) appearing along with black type winners Shirley Reef (by Shirley Heights) and Tosen Captain (by Jungle Pocket).
A chestnut mare by Hussonet (Mr. Prospector - Sacahuista) who is building a solid record as a broodmare sire with six Group 1 winners amongst his 27 stakes winners with progeny earnings of more than $7.8million.
Meddling is the dam of five foals and was served last spring by the Group 1 English Epsom Derby winner, Authorized.

Sharkbite Colt

As a racehorse, Shakbite won on debut and again at his second career start.  At his third-race appearance Sharkbite finished runner-up to future Group 1 winner, Haradasun in the Vain Stakes at Caulfield.   Sharkbite then won the Jayco Sprint on Melbourne Cup day in 2007 up the famous straight 1200m course at Flemington.  Beaten at his next start in the Group 3 Sandown Stakes, Sharkbite returned to Flemington to chalk up another victory over 1700m in December, 2007.  On Boxing Day, Sharkbite lined up in the Listed Lord Stakes (1700m) at Caulfield to add a valuable black-type win to his 'CV' before retiring for a new career off the track.
Sharkbite is the first foal out of the Quest for Fame mare Back Pass, a winner in Great Britain, and descends from a female line that has produced horses in the ilk of Banks Hill (by Danehill) a champion turf mare in America with five wins that include the Grade 1 Breeders Cup Filly and Mare Turf, the Coronation Stakes and Prix Jacques le Marois, both Group 1 events.  Intercontinental, a winner of 13 races that includes victories in the Grade 1 Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Turf and Matriarch Stakes.  Cacique (by Danehill), is the winner of the Grade 1 Man o' War and Manhattan Handicap, while, his full-brother Dansili, winner of the Grade 1 Belmont Manhattan Handicap is a leading sire and his best performer is Harbinger, winner of the Group 1 King George and Queen Elizabeth Stakes by 11-lengths.

This colt is out of Alteration, a winner of three races, and is her first foal.  The breeder was impressed enough to send Alteration back to Sharkbite again the following season and subsequently foaled down another colt.

Elvstroem - Bitaan
Elvstroem, was one of Australia's favourite racehorses when the son of Danehill was fondly known as 'Elvis' during his career on the track.  A  winner of more than $5.7million, Elvstroem retired to stand at Blue Gum Farm in 2005. 
Elvis (ex Circles Of Gold) won the hearts of racing fans being a winner of four Group 1 races before heading to Dubai to contest the Dubai Duty Free Stakes (UAE-I) worth U.S. $2 million.  Elvstroem, drew the outside gate in Dubai and jumped to the front, rolled along at a solid gallop under Nash Rawiller to win the race as he liked by nearly three lengths.
That win was Elvstroem's last although Elvstroem did campaign with honour in England when fourth behind Rakti in the Group 1 Lockinge Stakes, runner-up to Valixir in the Group 1 Prix d'Ispahan, third to Azamour in the Group 1 Prince of Wales's Stakes at York and at his last outing fourth behind Alkaased in the Group 1 Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud in France.
Since retiring to Blue Gum Farm in Victoria, Elvstroem has recorded nine stakes winners, six stakes placegetters from 348 starters.  Of those 194 are individual winners that's a winner to starter ratio of 55.7% (as of March 24th) and all up his progeny have won more than $10.7million.
For good measure Elvstroem is working well when covering mares by Rubiton with wins recorded by Knoxville, Bold Dazzler, Elvadon, Gorilla's Mist, Lord Elvstroem and Tiggy.

Bitaan, a bay mare, is a half-sister to the Group 2 Ascot Vale Stakes winner Spargo (by Rory's Jester).  When, Spargo (by Rory's Jester) claimed the now Group 1 event he had Testa Rossa and Redoute's Choice behind him.
Bitaan is out of the Group 2 SAJC Queen of the South Stakes winner, Adraanito (by Adraan) a half-sister to Greenmail (by Fuji Lee) a multiple winner in Hong Kong.  The female family has produced the Group 1 MRC C.F. Orr Stakes and Ascot Vale Stakes winner, Racer's Edge (by Rory's Jester).
Add Tinsel (by Christmas Tree), a daughter of Adraanito's is another that has been a success as a broodmare after a light racing career being the dam of the Group 3 Bunbury Cup and Naturalism Stakes winner, Celestial Show (by Serheed) - seven wins and $559,200 in earnings - and the juvenile stakes winner, Fashion Victim (by Rory's Jester).
Another, top class performer that appears in the family is Desert Chill (by Icelandic) winner of 13-races including the Group 1 Brisbane Cup, twice, with earnings just shy of a million in $906,700.  Another is the Group 1 Sydney Cup winner, Palace Revolt (by Dedicated Rullah).
Bitaan is by the Cox Plate winner, Rubiton (by Century) who is the broodmare sire of the Group 1 winners Playing God, Dash For Cash, Seventh Rock and King of Danes.  Overall daughters of Rubiton have produced 27 stakes winners, 23 stakes placegetters, 414 individual winners from 678 starters that's a winner to starter ratio of 61.1% (as of March 24th). 
This yearling colt is Bitaan's second foal, the first is a filly by Churchill Downs.

Statue of Liberty / Infatuated
Statue of Liberty is by the American champion sire, Storm Cat and stood his first season in Australia at Eliza Park Stud in 2004.  Returning for another three seasons Statue of Liberty then missed covering mares in 2007 when equine influenza struck.
Statue of Liberty then missed 2008 and returned to Victoria in 2009, on the back of interest from breeders on the back of deeds of the outstanding Hay List,  Mic Mac and smart fillies Dan Baroness, Elysees and Broadway Harmony.
The win of Hay List, in the Group 1 Newmarket Handicap, in 2012 on the back of his Group 1 Manikato Stakes, ensured his return to Australia last spring.  Hay List (ex Sing Hallelujah by Is It True) is also the winner of the Group 1 All Aged Stakes over 1400m, and, has shown some of his best qualities when pushing, Black Caviar.
Statue of Liberty is also the sire of Stanstill,  an Irish bred 7YO, and that gelding was imported into Australia for the Melbourne Cup and the bay import has subsequently won Australia’s longest flat race, the Yalumba Handicap over 3600m at the Oakbank in South Australia in 2011.
With more success to come for Statue of Liberty as his progeny continue to get to the racetrack in Australia his female family offers plenty of depth with his dam  Charming Lassie producing the Lemon Drop Kid (by Kingmambo) winner of 10 and four of those are at the Grade 1 level in America.  For good measure Charming Lassie is a three-quarter sister-in-blood to the champion racehorse and sire, A. P. Indy (by Seattle Slew).
Statue of Liberty, won the Group 3 Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot during his career on the track, and last spring covered 125 mares on a fee of $14,300.00 (inc GST).

A proven producer Infatuated is the dam of Kaiser's Prize (by Canny Lad) winner of the Listed Spring Time Stakes and a winner in Hong Kong.  As is Liaobuqi (by Commnds), a winner of races in Australia and Hong Kong. 
The WS Cox Plate heroine, Pinker Pinker (Reset) hails from a branch of the female line as does the Western Australian, Group 1 Karrakatta Plate winner, Golden Unicorn (by Jevington).  Another from Western Australia Group winner is Don Remon, winner of the Group 2 Sires' Produce Stakes.  
The great-grandam, Fall in Love (by Swaps) is out of the English Oaks winner Never Too Late (by Never Say Die).
Infatuated is by the English Derby and Hollywood Turf Handicap, winner Quest For Fame who in-turn is by the winner of the Group 1 Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe and Group 1 Coronation Cup winner, Rainbow Quest (by Blushing Groom).
Quest For Fame's daughters as of March 24th have produced 40 stakes winners, 28 stakes placegetters and from 863 starters 507 of them are individual winners, that's a winner to ratio of 58.7%.
